Sail Date: Oct 2008
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

In 2006, I did the Voyager cruise with 2 girlfriends. This time, I was accompanied by my husband, adults sons, daughter and daughter's fiance. (Ages 23-57) This, in itself, made for a very different experience.

Although we left the day before the cruise, the flight distance from Phoenix only allowed us to arrive at 2:15 on the day of sailing. Not ideal. We were delayed leaving Chicago and circled over Heathrow. Although the airlines assumed we would miss our connection and planned to rebook us on a flight arriving at 5:30 (YIKES!) - we ran for the Iberia flight. It had also been delayed so we were able to run on at the last possible second. Unfortunately, our luggage wasn't as fast as we were and all 10 bags were lost in Barcelona.

I was disappointed to miss our Meet and Mingle as I had to spend quite a bit of time with the very helpful purser filling out luggage forms.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

7688 and 7388 are extreme values for the money! The balcony had four loungers, two small tables and 2 chairs. The crew noise until 3 AM on deck 5 is unacceptable.
