We traveled from Tampa, FL to San Juan on Friday and spent two nights at the Coral Princess Inn in Condado. We highly recommend this hotel for a short stay. Everything is clean and cozy; staff goes to great lengths to make sure you enjoy your stay. Bus stop is a short walk down the street; the beach, Walgreens and Marriott Stellaris are just around the corner. In Old San Juan, we recommend the St. Germain bistro at 156 Sol Street, which is near the corner of Cruz Street. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Locals go there, and the place has a charming European cafe ambiance.

Arrived early for the ship, and process was efficient. After waiting about 10 minutes for the doors to open, we checked in and were on the ship less than 30 minutes after arriving at the port. Rather than joining in the Windjammer lunch buffet, we explored the ship. As expected, the ship is beautiful and big. Given the week of rain we had during the cruise, we were grateful for the Promenade and especially the Cafe Promenade - good sandwiches, pizza, desserts, and coffee.

At 2 pm, the staterooms were ready and we checked out our room and balcony. Loved it, great location on the 6th floor mid-ship. Navigating this ship is easy, and being centrally located reduced the number of stairs we climbed. While the elevators didn't seem too busy, we usually used the stairs to burn off excess calories.
