This was our second cruise. The first was out of Tampa on the Inspiration, and I was thrilled when they moved a comparable ship to Jacksonville as we live only 50 miles from the port. You'll have to pardon me if I compare the two experiences, but it's my only basis.

Embarkation in Jacksonville needs much improvement! Hopefully they will build a permanent terminal to take care of the inconveniences. In the meantime be prepared to get in lines and have people move you from one point to the other (remember kindergarten?).

Both ships were remodeled just prior to our cruises. They did not upgrade the Fascination as they did the Inspiration, but the differences were only cosmetic such as carpet, etc. in the common areas. The cabins were exact and very spacious and comfortable. We had plenty of storage room.
