We were on the Oct.4th cruise. We drove in on Fri. night from Tennessee. Not a bad drive. This port is a good location. We stayed at the LaQuinta inn north it was about 15 min's. from the port. It is $5.00 a day for parking and a free shuttle to and from port. We picked a time to catch the shuttle 12:00. We loaded up around 12:20 and were at port by 12:35. We dropped our luggage and got in line. The line was long but went quickly. Have your funpass and passport or birth cert. ready and every thing goes smoothly. We were on the ship and in our room by 1:15. We had an oceanveiw room and it was great. Alot of room and storage. Our luggage was there by 3:00. Used rum runners and all was well. Also brought a small amount in plastic bottle all made safely. I had ordered the romance pkg. with champagne and our cabin steward iced it down for us . Also got a soft-sided cooler with beer in it . Was very pleased with my purchase. My honey liked the extra care. We went and ate on the lido deck. The food was great and a good selection. The new deli was great it is in the back of the Coconut grill with the 24 hour pizza. We went back to the room and unpacked and settled in. Went to the muster drill which lasted about 20 mins. Went back to the room and dropped off our life jackets then headed off to the sail-away party on the lido deck. Got a couple drinks of the day. Always good. Lots of beautiful homes along the canal. Some nice pic's. Good music and nice scenery. We went to Karaoke which was pretty fun and some good singers. We ate at the buffet and enjoyed it very much. We roamed around and explored the ship. It was very nice and clean. The crew was great. Our cabin steward was wonderful his name was Antino. We had a different towel animal every evening. The day at sea was really relaxing you can do as little or as much as you want to. Plenty of chairs on the lido and around. We had perfect weather. Half moon cay was a beautiful beach. We walked down the beach a little ways and found some chairs with some shade. We rented some floats and just relaxed. Couldn't have been nicer. The Bar-B-que was a nice addition. The chicken was great. Got a frozen drink and went back to our chairs for a while. Went back to the ship. Great day. Went to a couple of shows they were all good. Ate at the buffet again. Good as usual. Turned in early. Had a big day planned for Nassau. We rented a room at Comfort inn for access to Atlantis. The cost was $170 total. It was a good deal for the money. We ate a big breakfast on the ship. We packed a little lunch and some drinks in our cooler and a change of clothes and were on our way. We got off and did a little shopping for souvenirs at the straw mkt. Then we caught a taxi over to Comfort inn. Check in was quick and painless. Room was not ready but we left our bag in a room and were on our way. It's a five min.walk to the resort. We rented a locker and stored our stuff and headed to the lazy river. It was unlike any waterpark I've ever been to. It was great fun. You can access all water rides from the lazy river. Rapids and all. We went to one of the beaches and snorkeled. Plenty to see and do. We went back to the room and took showers and went back to Atlantis to tour the digs. Very nice. Took lots of pic's. Caught a taxi back from Atlantis. We would do this again in a heartbeat. Back on the ship around 8:30 or so. Deli tonight it is delicious. Worn out. Turned early. Last day at sea we went to newlywed game ,lots of laughs. Seas were a little rough this day. Were going to play putt putt but ship was moving to much for me. Went to a couple of bars and comedian show. Was all good. Went to dinner and went to pack and put luggage out for pick-up. Debarkation was quick and easy. Went to catch the shuttle and back to get our car. We had to wait on the shuttle for about 30 min's. Car was safe and sound. All in all the cruise was great and looking forward to the next one.
