Cabin: Aft-Facing Large Balcony

We flew in from New York on the same day as the trip, had vouchers from NCL for pickup, and they were waiting for us as we got off the plane, which was a relief. (NCL left me in an airport in Istanbul after midnight for a few hours, but that's another story) We got our luggage and were taken to the pier, and boarded the Pride of Aloha. No one was on the latitudes line so we zipped right in.

The cabin was nicely arranged, our furniture was a bit broken, but usable and we found someones SKOAL chewing tobacco under our bed, and the batteries in the remote were in backwards, but it was nothing we couldn't handle. We are easy keepers, but i can see how some people might be unhappy with the service if used to some of the other cruises. We just let it be.

Our cabin steward was sooo nice, that we felt bad and didn't say anything when he forgot washcloths or didn't empty the wastebasket. It was Ramadan so he was fasting, and he looked a bit peaked, so once again, if you don't sweat the small stuff, the cruise is good.
