Just a little background about us to give you a little insight. DH and I are in our late 40's - early 50's, Empty Nester's who enjoy traveling, but have to work hard to pay for it. We are pretty easy going and tend to roll with the punches for the most part and are not overly picky.

EMBARKATION We drove 14 hours (along with some friends) to Boston, arriving a bit before noon. Our friend dropped us and our luggage off at the Black Falcon terminal. We breezed right through and we were in the Windjammer enjoying Honey Stung Chicken and Bread Pudding by 12:15.

THE SHIP If you have not been on the Jewel before it is a beautiful ship and spacious. I believe our cruise was pretty well sold out. We never felt crowded or felt like there wasn't enough space for everyone. Things seemed to flow very well. Would definitely sail on her again.
