Cabin: Junior Suite with Balcony

Background: Married couple, Canadian, early 50s travelling without our kids. This is our 5th RCCL cruise.

Arrival: We arrive at Port Everglade around noon. There were lots of people lined up waiting to board. The no-nonsense staff at Port Everglade are very efficient at moving crowds although you can't help but feel like part of a herd of cattle. Once we got through security our check in went quickly - express line due to Platinum Status.

Accommodations: Our room - Jr Suite - was available when they said it would be at 1pm. We were delighted with the cabin. Bright, spacious with tons of storage. Bed linens were crisp and fresh. Large Closet with drawers. Mini fridge stocked with water and soda (cost), security safe, hair dryer. Balcony had a sun lounger, two chairs and a small table. Bath room had a full size bathtub with shower, tiled walls and ample storage. Plenty of crisp white towels. Two robes were also available - JS perk. Our room attendant (Barb) came by to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything. Her service throughout our trip was professional and efficient. Dining: We used the Windjammer most days for breakfast and lunch because it is quick and easy. It has a casual feel for sure but there are lots of food choices and of course you can eat as much as you want. Food looks better than it tastes but having cruised several times before with RCCL this was no less than our expectation. In port mornings were usually very busy as everyone wanted to eat before going ashore.
