This was our 4th cruise and 1st with RCL. We previously had sailed with Carnival & Princess. The FOS far exceeded our expectations.

Our family consists of my DH, 10 yr old son & myself. We flew in to Fort Lauderdale on Sept 27th & stayed at the DoubleTree hotel at Biscayne Bay. I thought we got a good price by booking online. The hotel itself looked nice & the room was clean & close to the pier. The only complaint we had was that we had to call the hotel twice before we arrived & the staff was rude to myself & my husband on both occasions. When we checked in, the system that created room keys was not working. Each time we needed to get in our room, we had to contact the hotel staff who had a master key. They also charged us for things we did not order. Needless to say, we would will be staying at another hotel on our next visit to Miami.

Embarkation. We arrived at the ship at 11am. The lines moved quickly & the person who checked us in was extremely friendly. It took about 20 minutes from when we arrived at the ship to when were on board.
