The Ship: The Legend is a beautiful lady. Our (one) prior cruise was on her sister ship, the Rhapsody, so we quickly recognized the layout. We saw a few indications of wear-and-tear, but we also saw crew members unobtrusively addressing these issues.

The Stateroom: We had booked a D2 (deck 7) balcony cabin but (thanks to pixy dust) were upgraded to a JS (deck 8). Our room was in great condition and was comfortable for the most part. DH found his side of the bed to be somewhat uncomfortable, but my side was great (and no, I didn't offer to switch :-p).

A note about smoking on the balcony: We are non-smokers and could easily detect the odor of cigarette smoke on adjacent balconies even when at sea. It wasn't horrible - didn't send me into an apoplexy or anything. But it did detract, in a small way, from my enjoyment of our balcony. Of course our neighbors had every right to smoke on their own balconies, and I have no beef with that. But the question had been asked on the boards, "Could one smell cigarette smoke from an adjacent balcony?" The answer (in my case) is, "Yes. You probably won't die of it, but you may notice it."
