This was our first cruise with Princess. We had been on 2 Royal Caribbean cruises to the Caribbean and 1 on Celebrity. My adult son and myself(a senior adult) took the cruise as we were interest in the New England and Canadian ports. Hurricane Hannah had just gone up the coastline a few days before we left, but we pleasantly surprised on our trip we had beautiful weather in each port.

Embarking out of Brooklyn very smooth after getting a taxi from La Guardia. Overall this was the best organized cruise of any we had ever been on. Mini suite that was wonderful. Wish I will always be able to afford this.

The food was great whether it be in the Horizon cafe or in the dining room. We liked the Palm dining room the best. You did have to figure out how to get there as the elevator does not open directly there. We chose open seating dining as we enjoyed different people, and one night as we were in a hurry to see the show we sat at a table for 2. Yes, you should get there early for most shows as the seats will be taken. The service in all places was great. I admire these young people on the cruise ship who make an effort to always be pleasant and helpful. Our room steward always had our room madeup and helped with any extra request such as I did not realize our ice bucket was always filled for us in the refrigerator until I asked him for ice.

Cabin Review

Cabin AB

Great view as I was sure we would be facing the ports on our way down the coast. Plenty of room, quiet location. farther down on the aft end nearer the dining areas.
