Long but detailed!~!

Did last minute booking and saved a bunch of $$$ through RCCL website. Booked on Wednesday and left following Monday.

September 29th: (Tips for those driving themselves) Drove to Port, pulled up to curb in a down pour and had to hail an attendant to take my suitcase, so I could go park my car. Then I drove around to the parking garage through several deeply flooded areas. I located the entrance to the garage and drove through the flooded parking garage up to 2nd level ***Do not park on 1st floor if you drive a low vehicle**Several cars were under water up to their tail pipes. After parking my car and starting to unload some things, i noticed one of the drains next to the car started shooting water up out of it and then had to move the car to the opposite side of the garage where it was higher. FYI: Parking is currently $15 and they do accept credit cards! $5 less a day then Port of Miami. I then walked across the covered walk way and down the elevator. Once on the uncovered side walk I walked to the Pier through the rain. I crossed the street, walking through water above my ankles and completely drenched.
