This was our first cruise so i did not know what to expect. We stayed first in Miami for 5 days in a nice hotel in Ocean drive called the Park Central, and on saturday took a cab to the Port of Miami around 12.30. It took around 10 minutes and cost 25 bucks. We had both checked in online , so everything went very swiftly : dropped our luggage , and the check in took about 30 minutes , and it could have been even quicker if there had not been a slight delay at the security post. Everything seemed to be very well organized , we were impressed. We checked our cabin, which was rather nice , everything was ready and i liked the big balcony which we used a lot since we are both smokers. Our suitcases were there when we got back from lunch . We had lunch at the Windmeer restaurant , it was very busy already , but there was not a problem to find a table. We had breakfast and lunch there a couple of times , plenty of food , easy access to it too . The quality of the food was ok , but we enjoyed more the food at the restaurant ( we had a table at the Rembrandt ). Our waiters were fabulous , friendly and very always around when we needed them. We had dinner at the special restaurant called Portofino's , and it was the best meal of our trip , i can highly recommend it , some of the best italian food i have ever eaten in my life !! Room service was excellent , we had breakfast once in our cabin , and it was there right on time and everything was warm and tasty. We checked some of the places in the promenade , the pizza place seemed to be very popular with the kids. Our cabin was very comfortable , the only minus i can think about is that we could have used some more drawers for our clothes and that there was only place to hide one of our suitcases ( the other was placed in the balcony). Bed was excellent, the shower and restroom was small but adequate . Wireless was stable , i had no problem at all to connect , and it was a good connection ( i even managed to do a couple of video chats without any problems ).The guy wholooked after our room was incredible,he was very friendly and always around if you needed something. We had a problem with some laundry that vanished, and he managed to recover most of it he just kept going back until he found must of our stuff ! The Liberty of the Seas is huge , there is plenty to do for everyone , many fun activities for all ages . We liked the pools with Caribbean music playing in the afternoon , the shows in the evening were simply fabulous ! Do not miss any of them ! The fitness center was amazing , the surf rider was really fun and in the evening there were always good music at the different discos and clubs . The casino seemed to be very popular too but it was not very interesting for us , saw blackjack tables , roulette , poker tables and plenty of machines .Entertainment was generally very good . Sport activities were very popular too , wall climbing and basket ball & soccer games going on all day long . We went on different excursions : In Labadee we were at the Castaway Beach , which was a piece o paradise , can highly recommend it. We had lunch and walked around the different beaches and had a peek at the local market.

Montego Bay was our next stop and we went on a safari along the coast. Was fun , the diving was good but we did not get to see much of Jamaica. Friendly people tough.. and always good reggae music on the radio !

Next stop was the Cayman Islands : good place for shopping. We went on a jeep safari , really good fun , we managed to see a good part of the main island and still had enough time to relax at a beach in a resort before heading back to the ship. Water was amazing , clean and warm.
