Just got off the ship today and I have to say there were some outstanding staff members. Our Assistant Dining Room Waiter was awesome, Devorah, from Peru couldn't have been more personable and friendly. Very professional and efficient. Luis(Brazil) and Henry(Peru) were fabulous. All of these staffmembers knew our entire group of 32 by name and ALWAYS remembered our drinks.

Generally the staff was courteous but most were not very personable. It was as though there was a dividing fence somewhere between staff and guest and that was unbroachable. The cruise staff are the icebreakers for the guests to develop cross-cultural interactions of the guests. As the senior and mid-level staff are very busy tending to guest services and operations, I personally would like to see more interaction of the "average man" staff with the guests. I think it would make for better "ambassadorial" relations and enhance the likelihood of guests booking future cruises where we'll already have a feel for our staff. Yes, believe it or not, I would likely book a cruise if I knew where Devorah or the others were going to be. The Cruise Directors Staff

What a job they have! Huge level of responsibility to try and make sure all the guests have a great cruising experience. James Andrews was a great cruise director in many ways. He's got his hands full with such a large ship.
