First European cruise I plan this Mediterranean cruise over a year ago its 16 of us on this cruise we book this cruise online we flew from JFK to London and London to barcelona we flew in a day early we stayed at the hotel Apsis Splendid a lovely little boutique hotel very clean the staff is very nice free internet service because it was 16 of us we got breakfast for 7Euro for 2 mornings i highly recommend this hotel its close to the ramblas and cataluna they also sell tickets for the hop on hop of bus barcelona is a very nice city just be careful the pick pockets are every where the hotel book transportation to the pier we got a couch bus to the pier that was very nice you can also book the bus from the pier to the airport the hotel is very helpful with that.
Checking was a breeze we have our online checking pass our balcony cabin was ready we opted for late seating everything was arranged the way we wanted it in the dining room we all seated together our waiter and assistance waiter was great very attentive to our needs if we don't like a dish they gladly change it.
First stop Villlefrance,we took the train to monaco very rich we got off at the wrong stop in nice so we didn't get to see nice all in all its a beautiful port.
