Wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: August 2008
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

We had a wonderful time on our cruise in August. We sailed on the Freedom of the Seas out of Miami on 8/24/2008. Our cabin was large, always clean and our balcony was the best part. Spacious and we spent every late evening on it relaxing. We had coffee, danish and fruit on it every morning. The room service came exactly when they said they would. We had some wrinkled clothing after unpacking and had them pressed. They were back before dinner the following day.
The gym was large enough to accommodate us every time but once, when we found no aerobic machines available but went back later and had no problem. There was so much to keep us entertained when we wanted to be. We climbed the rock wall and had a blast. We enjoyed the shows we saw especially the ice show. Make sure you know when they are giving out the tickets to the ice show. We almost missed it but saw a long line and asked what they were on line for. There are enough tickets but it is limited for each night. The hot tubs More were amazing and we loved looking out over the ocean while relaxing in them. Embarking the ship took awhile with long lines. Disembarking we had to wait for our luggage about 30 minutes after our scheduled time. But I have been on longer lines.

The dining was enjoyable and our waiter was terrific. He was personable, happy, and funny, remembered our names, our likes and dislikes. Out of all our cruises he was the best most attentive waiter we have ever had. His name is Inshan and is from Tobago. If they could just add more chocolate deserts that would have topped off my dining experience. There was always enough room on the deck to sit and get some sun. Almost immediately someone showed up to get us a drink. The Islands were a lot of fun and our excursions on them great. Even though the ship was so big we could find anywhere easily using the main deck (mall). The Mocha at Seattle coffee house was better than Starbucks. We had a fun time and will cruise with Royal Caribbean again. Less
