So after 9 cruises in the last few years, I am finally making the time to write a review because our cruise of the Western Med on the Azamara Quest was outstanding, and our favorite of the cruises we've been on over the last few years.

ABOUT US: We picked up the cruising bug a few years ago and have sailed mostly in the Caribbean thus far, with one Mexican Riviera and one Canada/New England cruise under out belts as well. We've enjoyed every cruise we ever been on, including our first 4-day cruise on the Carnival Fascination, but we had long wanted to try a cruise in the Mediterranean. We were looking for a Royal Caribbean ship first, but we found a great price on the Quest cruise of the Western Med, and after doing some research into Azamara and reading mostly good things, we decided to try it.

EMBARKATION: Once we finally arrived at the dock in Civitavecchia, it was the easiest we've ever experienced. This may have been due to the fact that we did not get to the dock until after 3:00 and it seemed as if most people had already boarded by then, but we were checked in and on the ship within minutes.
