The Caribbean Princess over all is a nice ship. My Wife and I have taken seven voyages with Princess; this was our second trip to New England and Canada. Last year we sailed on the Crown Princess. We have traveled with other cruise lines as well. I will have to say that the weather was very nice most of the trip. We did have a sprinkler in St. Johns and it cooled down the last three days.

We flew into LGA and went to pick up our bags, after waiting and watching the conveyer to the point that bags were coming back around for the second or third time. A rep. that was helping Princess Passengers to their transfers came by looking for us, she was not an employee of Princess, and Just a sub contracted service. She informed us that our bags had arrived on another flight from Atlanta. Hey at least they were there in the airport. We had to wait for another bus due to the delay in finding our bags; we waited about 30 minutes before the next bus. After they loaded us up we waited for five more people on another flight, which was about 20 minutes.

When we arrived at the ship terminal the embarkation went smooth. We were in our stateroom in less then 15 minutes from the time we step off the bus, which was not bad since they had over 3,000 passengers arriving. Being a platinum member helps, but the general lines were not much longer. We were upgraded to a BB class balcony stateroom it was aft on the port side. The room was clean and ready for us. I did ask them to change the bed configuration. They had some kind of mix up there, but the beds were changed by the time we return from a late lunch. And the fruit bowl and our robes and our bags were in the room. We met our room steward who was very nice, He reminded me of some of our past room stewards who work and did not bother you much. We had a nice room and a big balcony, but the passengers above can look down on half of your balcony since it sticks out past the upper balconies by about five feet.

The balcony was large and very nice, but people can see from above, the bathroom was small, We did not here any noise in the halls, but the was noise from the thruster motors when we pulled away from the ports
