Please enter your review. There were 4 of us to board Elation for a short vacation. We have travelled on Elation in 1999 and had an ocean view cabin too. This was our 14 cruises already. We have gone thru princess, Holland America and Celebrity. Embarkation at San Diego - it was easy and pleasant. We got to the pier around 12:30PM, and not that many people waiting in line and the line moved very fast. We got our sail and sign card and proceed to the ship right away. Since the cabin was not ready yet, we had to carry our luggage to the Lido deck to have lunch. We did not want to check in the luggage . Lunch - the first lunch we had on the Lido DEck was SO Packed, that was the only time we saw so many people. We could hardly walk around inside the Tiffany Buffet. The food was ok. The cabin - as good as 9 years ago except had better bedding. Very comfortable bed and comforters. The shower worked very well. They provided shower gel and shampoo get inside the shower area. There was a basket with razer, tooth paste, some kind of pain killer. But, NO moisturizer. The muster drill was fast. They didn't make us wear the life jacket. The food from the dinning room was way better than the buffet. We had such wonderful waiter and assistant waiter. They made our every meal very very enjoyable. Our room steward was great too. We really had a nice and relax trip because the people worked on this ship are so pleasant. We did not go to the show,no comment. Cabo - the weather was great. We did massage on the Medano Beach and it was $20 for 50 minutes for neck, head and shoulder. My son got that but I got the 80 minutes complete massage for $50 dollars. It was a great deal,we tipped them good. The only draw back to do massage on the beach is that it could be very hot and without fan. Then, we took the water taxi to tour the Land'sEnd and saw a lot of fish. Since this was not peak season, we had the whole boat by ourselves and get to do whatever we like such as we asked to see the fish again. Ensenada - We actually had the best time here for the whole trip. We paid $3 round trip per person to board the shuttle from the pier to downtown. The shuttle offered $15 to go to the Blow Hole area. We didn't joined them. When we walked around in downtown, we took a taxi cab to Te Blow Hole for $40.00 for 4 people. The driver was very nice and showed us where to eat by the entrance of the flea market and that was the best taco we had ever had in our lives. It only cost $1.50 for each.We took a look at the Blow Hole and did some shopping and got quite a good deal on purses and T-shirt. For the sea days - we slept in and played at the casino. Debarkation was such a breeze. We just handed the custom form to the custom agents at the exit ,that is it. This was a great and relax trip. I do recommend this ship to anyone.
