Pleas e enter your review My wife and I combined this cruise on Holland American Line's Eurodam with a pre= and post=cruise stays in New York City and Quebec City. To Control our itinerary and costs we chose to book our own air travel and hotels. In New York City we stayed in the Affinia Garden Hotel in New York's Upper Eastside. It was an excellent hotel in a quiet residential area with good delis nearby. In Quebec City we stayed in the Auberge Ste Antoine Hotel which is right across the street from where the Eurodam docked! It is a classy hotel with an efficient staff and has one of the best restaurants in all of Canada! It is a short walk to the funicular which carries you up to the old town and the Chateau Frontenac.

Prior to the trip we had completed the usual boarding paper work via the internet so the actual boarding process was very smooth and quick. They started boarding passengers at about 11 am. Lunch was available in the Lido. Our cabin was available as advertised at 1 pm

The ship is beautiful and huge! Even with 2000 plus passengers we never had to wait long for anything nor did we feel "crowded." Lots of deck lounge chairs were always available. The crowd control during embarkation, shore excursions and debarkations was excellent. Members of the crew were universally efficient and friendly. The ship's library had lots books and DVDs.
