My husband, David, son Matthew and myself our seasoned cruisers. We brought along with us Matt's girlfriend, first time cruiser and our friend Joanne. This was her 2nd cruise...but first Caribbean Cruise. All of us LOVED the trip!!!! I was afraid that the ship would be too large and too many people. Never was the case! One would never know that 4200 people were on board! We boarded the ship on Sunday with no problem. We got on around 12:30PM and they allowed us to drop off our carry ons in our cabins and then wait for the rooms to be ready after one. So, we did that and then set out for something to eat. You had a variety of choices...between the buffet at the Windjammer or the little shops on the 5th deck. We chose the Windjammer. It was the only time that David and I ate there. The set up was poorly done. One of my few negatives about the trip. A nice feature was that both Chops and Portofino's were open during breakfast and lunch and you could bring your food there and eat in those restaurants. That was a nice feature. Much more quiet and much less stressful. After Muster drill we had all of our luggage and unpacked and got ready for dinner. We had first seating. A great table for 10. Our waitress was from Trinidad..Allysia.. and she was delightful. Could never do enough for all of us. We loved her! The dinning room food was the BEST that I ever had on a cruise ship!!! We actually were sorry that we booked Chops and Portofino's. However, they also were well worth the extra money. Especially Portofino's. We went there for my birthday and the our whole wait staff came up to wish me happy birthday! A nice surprise.

We enjoyed the sea days...and with a ship that large and so much to do..you really need those days to explore the ship! And explore we did! The shows were very well done and the costumes were just beautiful! Plenty of activities to do and my son won the Men's Sexy Leg Contest and one of our tablemates won the Belly Flop Contest! What a good time we had every day at the pool. They gave the Diamond Members a breakfast one morning at it was really a nice touch. Everyone had a officer at their table and the food was a little bit special from the usual breakfast fare. The only sour note we had was the one shore excursion we had in St. Maarten. Our tour was scheduled to leave at 10:44AM At 11:15 Am we were still waiting. I asked what the hold up was and they told me they were waiting for 12 people. I asked if they could tell time as we were already 30 minutes behind schedule. Finally at 11:30AM we left. They drove us to Marigot for lunch. Very disappointing! Then they took us to Orient Beach. The bathrooms were so filthy that it ruined our whole time there. We found another RCCL bus leaving before ours and went back to the ship with them I would not recommend this beach or for that matter the whole tour to anyone...even my enemy!!!! But, with that aside, our 7 days when by all to quickly! I was really sorry that I did not book a b2b as I felt that I still needed time to enjoy this gorgeous ship and her wonderful crew!!!!!!!!
