Sail Date: May 2004

We felt that this ship needs a bit of tweaking. There is just something that is lacking and others that have sailed before were saying the same thing. We are considering cruising the Panama Canal sometime next year and will probably give Princess another try for that cruise and hopefully by going on one of their smaller ships the service will be better.

We found the embarkation a bit of a problem. We supposedly had express checkin and that meant nothing. The regular checkin was moving faster than our lines did. So much for express!

Once onboard we were awestruck by the beauty of this ship. She is massive and gorgeous. Our cabin a mini-suite on the Dolphin deck was just perfect sizewise for our tastes. Plenty of storage for everything. Our balcony was a good size with two lounges and table and 2 chairs. Cabin was perfect! Our cabin steward, Emilio was wonderful and kept things very well for us throughout the cruise.
