This was my family's third cruise on the Mariner of the Seas and the second time we had taken the Eastern Caribbean Route. Our cruise was scheduled to stop at Coco cay, St. Thomas and St. Martin. On this cruise, we had myself, my wife and my parents

Prior to the cruise, we completed all of the paperwork and had our setsail passes ready to go. We arrived by car at Port Canaveral around 11:30 am. There was a very short line (maybe 5 minutes max). We dropped our luggage with the porters, parked the truck, and proceeded to get in line. We were through the x-rays quickly and had no line to check in. Within 15 minutes of arriving, we were on the ship, before noon, where we proceeded to go to the Windjammer for lunch. It was a little difficult to find a table, but by 1pm you could easily get a table. We were able to go to our cabin at 2:00pm.

Windjammer (Breakfast, Lunch & Tea Time): I did not eat any breakfast on the cruise (I try not to gain too much weight cruise), but my parents did and said it had the typical breakfast bar foods and that they were normal quality. Lunch had a good variety of foods, and they always had hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, salads and sandwiches. They usually also had a meat dish, chicken dish and a pork dish, along with a good variety of desserts. Tea Time is always my favorite meal at the windjammer. It is usually from 3 to 5 pm. They have burgers & hotdogs, but they also have nachos with chili and cheese, bread pudding, waffles and a variety of other stuff that you don't get at the other meals. All the food was of good quality and the service was excellent. There was always someone coming by offering to get drinks for us or bring cookies by for us.
