This is our fourth cruise, second on Princess. My husband and I traveled with our three daughters (25, 24, 20). As a family we have cruised on Celebrity Mercury to Alaska and NCL Pride of America to Hawaii. My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary on the Coral Princess to Alaska last year.

We selected the Caribbean Princess because of the itinerary. We spent four days in New York pre-cruise and made our own flight and hotel reservations. We took a van taxi to the Brooklyn port. Embarkation was quick and well organized.

The Caribbean Princess may not be the newest ship, but everything was clean and well maintained. Our balcony cabins (even though not adjoining as we requested) were nice with no noticeable defects. The cabin stewards were outstanding. Even though we did not get any towel animals, our children (we call them that even though all three are adults) received towel animals each night. We all were very well taken care of.
