This was a seven day cruise on Celebrity's Infinity roundtrip from Seattle with stops in Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan, Alaska as well as a short trip into Hubbard Glacier and an evening stop in Victoria, British Columbia.

We had just been on a similar cruise, on this same ship almost exactly a year before but when our best buds, Bob and Judy asked if we wanted to go again we said, "YOU BET!"

Last year's cruise with Bob, Judy, Mike and Carol as well as a bunch more of our Martini Mates crew was more about going to Alaska. This cruise was more about relaxing. It had been a long and somewhat stressful summer at work for both of us and this cruise was just what we needed. This was our sixth cruise on the GTS Infinity, our eighth cruise on Celebrity and our tenth cruise overall. As you can tell we love cruising, Celebrity and Infinity. We consider her our home away from home. It has been a year since we have been onboard her but she is still looking good. Things were clean and well cared for and we saw little major wear and tear that need to be fixed. We did find out that she is scheduled to be in dry dock for 17 days sometime in the fall. Not sure what work they will be doing besides maintenance on her ever-problematic pods. Embarkation was easy but crowded. I want to note here the makeup of the pax onboard this cruise. It was made up of a lot of groups both large and small. The Food Network chef, Paula Dean was onboard with the largest group, approximately 600 people. There were also groups of folks from Australia, a travel agent's group, a vitamin sales group and a couple of others. We arrived at Pier 33 in downtown Seattle at 10:20, dropped the luggage with Judy and Kathleen and they checked it in while Bob and I went to park their truck. Parking with Republic Parking at the pier is very easy.

Cabin Review

Cabin CC

Aft cabins on Celebrity are awesome. Just a huge verandah but can be a little rough in rocky seas.
