We had 24 people joining from across the country to celebrate a 50th birthday and a 25th wedding anniversary. All I can say is what a party! I was the ringleader and spent numerous hours investigating reviews and ships and itineraries before deciding on the Destiny. Lots of ports to visit and a smaller ship for everyone to get around. I've been on many different ships and Carnival is known for it's fun and party atmosphere and that is what we wanted. We had a number of first time cruisers with us and needless to say they will all cruise again.

As this is my first review I will try and put as much information as I can into it. This was the last cruise for the Destiny out of San Juan before they move to Miami for shorter trips. They made it memorable for many of us.

We coordinated our flights to arrive earlier in the day, knowing we might run into the crowds but figured we could check out San Juan for a few hours. We headed over to the ship at 11:00 and by 11:30 we were at the dock joining the crowds starting to gather.
