My husband and I just returned from our first cruise, sold as "the trip of a lifetime". We had read the reviews from this site and found them to be helpful. I thought I should return the favor to future cruisers that may be considering the Majesty and RCI.

To those who offered advise on taking common items such as baby powder, Dramamine, tylenol and other travel sized common items, THANK YOU! You should not attempt this cruise without those.

Getting On with it..We live in a suburb of Nashville, since Southwest has a hub here we use them any chance we have since they usually have the best fairs. Of course the downside to that is that they do not fly into Miami, so we flew into Ft. Lauderdale. We checked around and there are some outrageous fares for transportation from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami but I was able to find a reliable service provider for a fair price. We used Easy Express (www.easyexpress.biz for those who may interested). Roundtrip for both of us was $100 plus tips which ended up as $130. The transfer was pretty smooth and certainly worth the slight inconvenience (you will meet with your driver by using your cellphone, which was somewhat reminiscent of playing Marco Polo). Embarkment was a breeze, we landed @ 11 in Ft. Lauderdale and were at the port of Miami and on board the ship by 1. This was a very smooth process!

Cabin Review

Quite location, comfortable bed, very, very small storage area and shower.
