Mariner of the Seas - August 17, 2008 - Eastern Itinerary
Pre-Cruise This was our fourth cruise on Mariner of the Seas; our 15th cruise on Royal Caribbean and our 24th cruise overall. We took this cruise to say goodbye to Mariner as she will be leaving Port Canaveral, a 4 ½ hour drive from our home Although we will miss this wonderful ship, we are ecstatic that RCI will be home porting Freedom of the Seas at Port Canaveral starting on May 9, 2009 .
We drove down to Port C the day before and stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn. We have stayed here before and enjoy its spacious suite room, the kitchen, the hot breakfast.
