Ok..so new to cruising. Wouldn't say our standards were low, we save hard for our holidays and expect a good return. We're a UK family, 2 adults + 2 8 year olds and were really looking forward to our cruise. We'd done our homework in advance collecting a wealth of information before sailing from the Cruise Critic forum so we thought we knew what to expect. We were only half right. The cruise way exceeded our expectations! Reading some of the negatives on here and I really wonder whether I sailed on the same ship as some posters.

Staff: Friendly, courteous, pleasant beyond belief. And trust me, when you come from UK just to have someone at every interaction smile and make a pleasantry can be a little disarming at first!!! We're just not used to it :) We had cause to complain twice - nothing major but we wanted to make a restaurant manager aware. The customer service we received around both issues were incredible. Personal attn, completely kept informed till resolved. A follow up to see if we were enjoying the cruise. Simply outstanding.

Kid's Crew: They work tirelessly to ensure your children have the time of their lives - and believe me - ours did!! We had planned on ensuring our children ate with us every night, this was a "family" holiday after all. No such luck! After the second night of the kids chanting "can we go yet..can we go yet" we capitulated and let them eat where and when they wanted. They made so many friends in the club plus with a different activity on each day, they were never bored. Read more
