We are a married couple in mid-fifties age and this is our third cruise. We looked at price for a last minute get away not considering that this would be the last cruise on this ship before school reopens. A big mistake for anyone hoping for a moment of peaceful quiet; something that was impossible to find anywhere on the ship. We were both taken aback by the rudeness of other cruisers, the number of unsupervised children running about and the foul language of the teenage crowd. The adult only whirlpool was often frequented by teens and even younger children who either didn't read or just disregarded the sign. The pools and whirlpools were constantly crowded and extremely noisy. The din in the dining room detracted from what should have been a peaceful mealtime. Our cabin was what we expected and comfortable.

Embarkation was efficient. We drove and parked at the terminal. From the time we parked it only took about 20 minutes for us to arrive at our cabin on the panorama deck. Closet space and dresser space was adequate. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

The lido deck was constantly packed with people and the lines were long. The buffet food was unremarkable, however the deli made excellent sandwiches to order. Bar waiter staff were few and far between. Most everything we did was self-serve. We traveled with two other couples who had rooms next to ours. Our first problem was that we were seated at different tables in the dining room. We were able to arrange for a new table for 8 and sat with an older and most enjoyable couple from New Jersey. The waiter staff and food were good. However, as indicated above, the overall tone of the entire cruise was loud. This totally distracted from a good dining experience and it was difficult to hear others speaking at the table over the noise of other cruisers.
