Had a quick 3 night weekend away for our 20th anniversary. Majesty was a good choice. 2 Previous cruises with RC. Liked service and style.

Flew in morning of,short cruise so just packed carry ons and didn't have to wait for luggage, took taxi to ship. Off plane by 11:30, sitting in pool with margaritas in hand by 12:30. Perfect embarkment. Brought bathing suits in carry on - good idea.

Had JS. Comfortable size, lots of storage. First time with balcony. Will never go back any other way. Cabin stewart, Jeffrey, excellent-when told it was our anniv. he surprised us with a bottle of champagne waiting in our cabin the next evening. Extra tip for him. Ice always filled, very attentive and friendly when saw him in the hall.

Had coffee and tea delivered to room in a.m. to have on balcony. Nice! Breakfast and lunch in Windjammer - no complaints. Ordered cheese platter and wine before dinner (late seating) to have on balcony - nice! Dinner: was disappointed this time around. Really enjoyed the dining experience on previous cruises. Steaks were terrible!!! Thin, tough, looked almost chopped. 2nd night DH ordered salmon over pasta, last one to get food while table mates politely waited, then when it arrived no salmon just noodles with cream sauce. Didn't want to make a fuss so he was a good sport about it. Wasn't even offered an alternative. Not impressed with service either, I'm not a snob just was looking forward to being pampered a little. 1st time with late seating, is staff usually stressed by this point? Definitely could have been better!

Coco Cay: lovely beach, got early tender out and went to right side of main beach. Nobody there for over an hour. All to ourselves! Just floated on rafts. Heaven! Main beach gets really crowded as day goes on. Nassau: No excursions planned. Took water taxi over to Atlantis just to see it. Water taxi takes a while. Don't do if you're in a rush. Back on ship for late lunch. Hung out at pool and had drinks with some nice people. Planned on taking nap but was having too much fun.

Comedians were good. Didn't go to show. Cruise director was fair.

Now for disembarkment: carried off own luggage, easy off no problems until customs. Handed our passports over, after a few minutes marshall calls DH out of line and takes him in for questioning. Says someone from Bahamas with similar name and description on their list. Was detained for almost an hour while they questioned him and went through our luggage thoroughly, only found dirty laundry. We waited patiently, fortunately had a noon flight but nobody seemed to care if we missed it. I guess we should be glad for the stepped up security but was a little unnerving. Did we really look like criminals or 2 tourists in their mid-forties, with nice tans having a fun vacation away from the kids?

All and all, a nice size ship for a nice quick weekend away. Planning on next RC cruise for April break.
