Sail Date: Aug 2008

First of all, thanks to all of you who have provided information on the Royal Caribbean Legend of the Sea's Eastern Mediterranean cruise. We have just returned (August 08) and I wanted to provide you some thoughts for any of you that will be sailing shortly.

I will not spend any time on the ship, food or service. Frankly, you will get what you pay for here and if you want upper end cruise service and cuisine, this probably won't fit your bill. The service was adequate as was the food. Do not expect the waiters to anticipate your needs, but if you instruct them, they will provide service up to par.

I would like to give you some thoughts however, on what I wish I had known before hand and what was spectacular.

Cabin Review

We booked an aft cabin with balcony. These cabins are slightly larger than the cabins on the side of the ship. There is an overhang that seperates the lower deck from the cabins, so they are not directly over water.
