Embarkation was good considering you had about 2000+ people to get on board. Escorted to our cabin by 1pm. Of course we paid extra for the mini-suite but well worth it. A room 16x9 not including the bath & makeup table or balcony. My wife loved the bathtub. Also had coffee maker, safe and refrigerator. Room stewards(?)did great job almost to point of being annoying I thought. My wife thinks otherwise and enjoyed their animals they formed from towels and wash cloths.. Laundry service was so-so.
We enjoyed the entertainment every night.
The buffet was an average place with lots of kids and crowded depending upon when you went. If you watched the hours we could avoid most crowds. We didn't go any restaurant that wasn't free, because we enjoyed the Versailles so much. Beautiful restaurant, great service and good food. Even saw some whales go by while eating there. Don't know why another reviewer was so down on the free restaurants. We booked the tours through Norwegian. Guaranteed to get you back on the ship and on the whale tour if you didn't see a whale you got most of your money back.
Roomy for a ship (mini suite), good balconey, good extras (refridge, etc). One minor problem. Crew comp. across hall had very squeaky door.
