We were on the July 26th sailing from Southampton - a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers (boys 15 & 14)travelling from North Wales. We had one previous cruise under our belts (Princess Emerald, July 07)
We stayed the previous night at a hotel in Winchester -(Norton Park) - highly recommended. Book in advance for good rates. We were so glad we had made the trip down the previous day, as traffic was horrendous (even from Winchester to Southampton) on the Saturday morning. I heard that others only living 2 hours away from Southampton took over 4 hours to get to the port.
