We arrived a day early, to stay over in Seattle, and boy are we glad we did! We saw the Needle, the museum of rock, and tons of Starbucks!
We got to the port around 1, and we were checked in, and in our room within 20-25 minutes! When you walk on you are greeted with champagne/mimosas ( free) and escorted to your room, if you wish!
Food - Food is average, and its only because they don't season the food, which is understandable, some people don't like seasoning, but it was good the last night, with BEEF WELLINGTON!
Activities- There are the same activities every day, and wine tasting was pretty much our#1! Carnival has more variety of activities, but if you want to relax this is the cruise to do!
Staff- room staff was OK, they do what is required, but nothing great! They don't do towel animals unless you ask, so if you want them, ASK! Also, if you want the kitchen tour you have to ASK! Go to Guest relations and ask them for the galley tour, its great!
Wait staff- our assistant waited Freddy ( table 455) was great, and on top of things all the time. Our regular waiter was not quite on the ball ( Wayan), and our food was mixed up with others at the table, quite often! If you have an allergy, alert them the first night! I faxed a form to celebrity which they require if you have a food allergy, and I told our agent and I still got anchovies in my salad, and luckily I only took 1 bite before realizing it!
Ports - all ports are small and can be seen within an hour if you don't go outside the ports. The things that are great to do, we didn't do. We took the lazy route, saw all the touristy things, and didn't do any adventurous things, but we know better now.
The best part was the hubbard glacier, you should be NON port side for this, because you get a better view, and GET A BALCONY! Overall, a great vacation!
