Sitting here in the Vancouver airport waiting 6.5 hours for our flight home, so I thought "Hey, what better time to write a review than when I literally just stepped off the boat!?"

Let me preface by saying that I have cruised 2 times before on Carnival. The first time was when 9/11 happened and my husband and I were in Jamaica and Grand Cayman. The second was last spring with my mom and sister to Honduras, Belize and Costa Maya. So all previous experience/comparisons mentioned in this review will to in reference to those 2 trips.

I was hesitant to book with NCL after reading some bad reviews and my sister having a bad cruise with them 5 years ago. But, we booked last minute and NCL had the best rate for the Alaskan destination that we wanted. So we decided to give them a try. This cruise was just for my husband and me - kids left with the grandparents!
