Traveled with children

Last year we traveled on the Glory. We like the Pride a lot better. Somehow on this ship people kept their children more in control and weren't such slobs. It was also possible to get a deck chair in the middle of the day!

Embarkation: It went very smooth. We did have a line waiting to get keys but it moved smoothly. Once we were past all that, we had a nice leisurely stroll onto the ship. This year we were immediately given a ship's map so we could find our way around!

Sea Days: People were very friendly. It was interesting how many passengers were from California. Our wait staff in the dining room were excellent. I didn't like our room steward much. He didn't introduce himself and wasn't very friendly. But he did clean our room well. The first 2 days we ate all our meals in the dining room. Because we were traveling with our teenagers, we were seated at a table for 4. It was nice at the other mealtimes, to be introduced to other guests. We kept running into them throughout the cruise. Meals were o.k. I actually thought the food was slightly better on the Glory.
