We arrived at Athens and the check-in was pretty smooth. But, my laptop was stolen at the port security area. Neither the Tourist Police nor the Azamara offered much help. Azamara Cruises offer open seating policy; we were unimpressed with the services. The dinning room service was not even comparable to the lower priced Royal Caribbean cruises. We finally fed up with the spotty services on the 6th days and requested to be served by Harry for the rest of the cruise. Harry was very good and deserved the additional tipping we gave him. I think Azamara really has to re-think the tipping pool concept which provides no incentive for good services. The cabin was small but I expected that since I was on the similar ships with the Oceania and Renaissance cruises. The bathroom is small and the shower stall with the dirty curtain clinking on to you while you taking a shower is unpleasant. The shower drain was slow and the service calls to the butler or the Guest Relations did not fix the problem.

TV channels are limited but our group enjoyed the free program selections.

The daily housekeeping was kept at a minimum. Only obvious surfaces were cleaned and dusted. For a 14 days cruise, changed the sheets on the 11th day was unacceptable.
