Eastern Caribbean Cruise: Here is my review of our cruise.
My family of four took the 9 day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Caribbean Princess out of Brooklyn NY July 19 - 28, 2008. It was my first cruise and the kids' first cruise. My husband has been on several. We are ages 46 and 49. The kids' ages 15 and 18.
We live in the Baltimore area so we opted to take Amtrak out of BWI to Penn Station. The train trip took approximately three hours and it really is the way to go. One suggestion: pack lightly. We made the mistake of trying to fit four very large suitcases and two carryons through the train aisles and also find a place to store them. It clogged the aisles and made boarding hectic.
