Overall, we did not have a very nice experience on this cruise. Embarkation went very smooth and we quickly got to our cabin. However, our luggage did not arrive until 7 that evening, much too late for us to change and attend our dinner. We did try to look at the bright side and were looking forward to traveling to Alaska! The first three days on the cruise were at sea, and it was boring! There was very little for two 30 year-olds to do. We finished a few books and watched the movie. We ate a lot, but that got old real quick because the food service was not up to our expectations. The buffet was the worst. Stale food with long lines and you had to fight for a place to sit. Not what we would call relaxing. The dining room experience was better, however, since we had anytime dining, we had a different server each evening. On the first formal night, our server did not even acknowledge we were there. We actually had to ask for another table!

There was entertainment each evening which was adequate. The destinations were wonderful however; Alaska is beautiful. Easy on and relatively easy off. We had a bad experience in Ketchikan when we were in the rain waiting to board (soaking wet) and they did not let a handicap couple ahead of us board early. But, they did not stop the teenagers from cutting. We thought this was disgraceful. The room was always clean and quickly turned over, our one bright spot on the ship. During billing, Princess overcharged me 300 dollars which I am disputing at this time. I would not recommend the cruise line.
