This was my wife's and I 5th cruise on 4 different cruise lines. We decided to save some money and take the local cab from the airport. It turned out great. For $25 ($15 less), we got to the port in 10 mins, and the driver was nice, and the cab was clean. We got there early because of our personal flight arrangement, and hung around the port. It is a nice place to wait. We sat outside in the Channelside shopping area, and had some coffee at the local coffee shop. Was almost first on line, which was great. Our friends got in later on, and they had to wait 1-2 hours to get through the check-in. Very nerve racking.

We left ontime with great weather, which quickly turned bad due to Tropical Storm Dolly. But the Captain did a great job slowing down and informing us of its progress. Since it was the first day at Sea, it was fine. We quickly got out of it, and headed to G. Cayman, which was tendered, and moved well. A lot of shopping going on.

The food was OK. We tried their pasta every night, and my entire party of 10 are convinced that the Chef does not know how to make a red Italian tomato pasta sauce. We even found out that some of the crew eat with the Italian Captain who has his own Chef. The choices were varied. Desserts were OK, nothing fantastic. At lunch, one day we had the Italian Antipasti. They served the legs of squid in the plate, along with some prosciutto. Mostly everyone gave the plate back. It was not too appealing.

Cabin Review

Cabin Bal

Nice size, Good balcony, Noisy A/C, Plenty of lights, Poor air circulation in the bathroom.
