Although we had a good time cruising... this ship was VERY disappointing. It looked like it was time for a refurbish of the ship. We called down to the customer service desk to tell them that our weather stripping around our ocean view window was broken and looked liked it developed "mold." However no one responded to the problem. Also there was broken glass on some elevator doors, writing on the elevator glass doors and walls, our floor (outside of the cabin) had a sewer smell and the ship just didn't look clean in certain areas. We were on the Carnival Triumph 2 years ago and it was spotless! You saw a crew cleaning every minute of the day... but not on this ship. We were on the Liberty of the Seas last year (Royal Caribbean ship) and it was outstanding. I would have to say the Glory was a distant 3rd well behind those two ships. The buffet area looked old and in some cases the beverage section could stand to use some work. The area looked old fashion and not too clean. The staff was good except for a few rude bar maids. The excursions were OK except the nature walk in Honduras... but all in all they were OK. One last thing... everything in the room service menu we ordered was terrible... not to mention the orange juice tasted like orange drink gone bad! Carnival please fix the things that's wrong with this ship. We will not travel on too many more Carnival ships again unless we hear that there is an improvement.
