I had not cruised in 14 years. We did the Big Red Boat and I did not enjoy the experience at all. Had young kids then. Kids are grown now, but only my boyfriend and I did the Sky cruise from July 21-25, 2008 out of Miami. Embarking was a breeze and I found the ship clean and staff friendly.
My only complaint was that my luggage did not arrive till 9:15 Monday night... I was hot, smelly and irritated as all get out by then. I had been stamping my foot 3 times to anyone who would listen, listening to others who were worse off than me. It came finally, I showered and went to bed. Didn't feel like getting all dolled up at 10 at night to go out.
The next day was my 50th birthday. We swam with the dolphins and gambled that night and won! Casino people were a blast all the nights and we never had qualms with anyone aboard.

Mid-Ship Balcony
tiny cabin, cramped, but who goes on a cruise to sit in a cabin? loved the balony....could have danced naked and no one can see you! watched the sun rise every morning!
