This was our 4th cruise~3rd with Carnival and second on the Paradise. Last cruise was on Royal Caribbean which was very nice but not nearly as much fun and and as well organized as Carnival. We (my husband and I) embarked early around 1:30 expecting to wait just to board. But we didn't wait at all! They let us walk right on to the ship! Every one that greeted us on the way up from Carnival was absolutely wonderful and helpful. Once we were on board we went to our room which, understandably was not quite ready yet so we went to the pool to find it ready for swimming! This was a treat because every time previous, the pool was closed until we were on our way. But it was open the music was playing, and the buffet was going out on the Lido deck. Wonderful! The service was great... no wait for a drink and I thought the drinks were very well priced. No rip off here! There were nice big dark blue Carnival pool towels to use on the plentiful deck chairs. We sat by the pool for a short while and walked up to our room to find it ready and our luggage there also.

The ship was beautiful and clean. Our room was perfect. We decided on an inside cabin. We have had a balcony and a window in the past but we didn't miss those on this trip. The bed was nice and comfy and there was lots of closed space. Our cabin steward took very good care of us and we always had clean towels. Dinner was lovely all three nights. We dined in the dining room and were spoiled rotten buy our waiter and our wine steward. I ordered a bottle of Pinot for myself $22.00 and it lasted all 3 nights. What a deal! We had the last seating for dinner which worked out great because it gave us time for a nap and a shower before dinner and after dinner everything was open for fun! Dancing, gambling or just a moonlit romantic walk on deck. The next day Ensenada was fun. Typical Ensenada nothing new to me because I had been there several times but I enjoyed it. I recommend eating the food. Especially those tacos! WOW! Day at sea was great because it was warm and sunny perfect day to float around in the beautiful blue Pacific.

The biggest surprise was the disembarkment, which for me in the past always was a bummer. This part almost made me regret the whole trip in the past but not this time! It was great! Carried our own luggage off... no big deal had breakfast and were off the boat by 8:30 am! AWESOME!
