Embarkation: We followed our travel agent's advice and did not purchase transfers from the airport to the ship. We took a taxi instead and it was quick, simple and inexpensive. There was a fixed rate of $28.50 for one taxi, which was a van that fit all 6 of us. We arrived at the terminal in San Juan by noon, but after checking in were told that embarkation was delayed until PM. The worst part about this was that there were not enough seats so waiting was uncomfortable. We finally embarked at 2:30.

Stateroom: Our room was spacious enough with a lot of closet space and the shower was much larger than on other cruise lines, with great water pressure! The cabin stewardess was awesome and deserved every penny of the pre-charged tip. The rest of the ship was remarkably similar to the other eight ships we've been on from various lines; they are really all set up the same. The public areas were clean and the gym was particularly nice - one of the best!

Dining: The dinners in the dining room were wonderful every night, and most of the food in the Sun & Sea buffet area was great too. In fact, the Reubens at the New York Deli were a highlight of the cruise! Our waiters were absolutely terrific - the best of any cruise. Again, the tips were well-deserved. There was one Gala Midnight Buffet and it was held in the Sun & Sea and the set up was inefficient. The line moved very slowly and the food was not of the same quality as the rest of the cruise. I recommend skipping it.
