We just return from our 9th cruise, and our 5th with Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean and Carnival still continue to be our favorite cruise lines. Embarkation was a breeze although the port at Bayonne, NJ looks like a war zone. Hopefully, it will get better. The food in the dinning room was to die for. Our waiter the first night was so-so, but we were moved to another table for the rest of the cruise, and our new waiter tried everything to please us. The beef was especially good which was unusual for cruise lines. The desserts were the usual great Royal Caribbean variety. The Windjammer food was mediocre and it was way too crowded so we resorted to the dining room whenever possible.

We would give the entertainment a B. The singers and dancers were OK, but once you've seen one of those shows you've seen them all. The cruise director was very outgoing and goofy, but he grew on you. He was probably the youngest I have ever seen.

The inside stateroom was way too small although there was plenty of storage area. We had to walk across the bed to get to the bathroom which had a VERY small shower. The room steward was acceptable but nothing great. Often times we did not get information delivered, and the last night she did not clean our cabin.

Cabin Review

Tiny shower, good storage, too few electrical outlets, small room.
