My wife and I enjoyed our cruise because of the destinations and our dinner tablemates and waiters. The ship was a mixed bag of surprises and disappointments. We purchased separate air on American and arrived late morning, taking a taxi to the ship.
Embarkation
This was the second longest embarkation in our 15 cruises together. We had registered for everything we possibly could online and expected a quick process. However, when we arrived, the line stretched from one side of the building to the other and all the way to the door...in a few minutes the line snaked around to accommodate everyone. We had arrived at the same time for an earlier departure on Navigator of the Seas in February and the process was much quicker. It took over an hour to check-in and additional time for security.
