I am a seasoned cruiser, first time on the Enchantment of the Seas. I can't say enough about this ship, staff and cruise! Embarkation was without a hitch. They got us one the boat exploring within minutes of arriving at the pier. Our luggage was immediately delivered to our state room. My wife and I had a large inside cabin on Deck 7 which for the time we were in there it was OK. The shower was a bit small, and my shower curtain and I got to know each other very well! The ship is magnificent. Eleven decks of fun and excitement. Our cruise was a mixed bag of passengers, young, old, single, married teens, toddlers and infants. The teens had their own territory in the 11th deck, far enough away where they had a Teen Disco, Game Room, Rock Climbing Wall, and Bungee Jump. This kept them well occupied (needless to say there were no incidents at all involving any bad behavior). The Pool deck on 9 was phenomenal! Two gigantic pools and bars. The Pool Wait staff was very entertaining while serving you drinks (keep the party rolling). The Band was great, setting the Caribbean mood. The piped in music was OK except for one afternoon where I thought I was in a South Beach Night Club... a bit too much. The Solarium was an indoor pool, for a quiet and relaxing time. Although right next to the fun and excitement of the outdoor pools, the peace and quiet was at times a welcome relief. Our room attendant was fantastic, having our room in ship shape order and always available for questions when we had them. The activity staff could not do enough for you. There was always someone there to answer questions, or get you involved. To see almost 2000 passengers at the 70's Disco Party was fantastic! Even the Captain got involved in the International Belly Flop Competition! The food service staff was equally impressive. Every attention to detail was paid, and my wife and I felt like royalty. The evening entertainment which was as good as a cabaret NYC club was beyond belief! It was not your typical cheesy entertainment, but rather professionally produced shows something for everyone, and good late night shows for adults

Disembarkation was also a breeze. Even though there was a technical error due to the pier gangway, the staff immediately compensated and came up with an alternate plan. My designated time of departure was 8:45 AM. I was off the ship and on my flight back home by 10:00 AM with not a single hitch! This made the journey even better,

My only recommendations (not criticisms) would be to have the My Fair Lady Dining Room spruced up a bit (new furniture and window treatments). I would have also liked to have seen a bit more daytime activities inside the ship to break up the day, although the outside activities were fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend this ship and cruise to anyone! Well done RCL!
