This was our 14th cruise and 4th sailing on Princess. We really liked the Dawn Princess. The ship has a lot of style and plenty of deck space. Our cabin was a category D and featured a very large balcony size window. For us it offered more privacy than a balcony and we were able to sit in the window and see whales passing by. The cabin had plenty of drawer and closet space. The bathroom was small, but very well laid out.

There was always plenty of space to sit on the decks. The great thing about an Alaskan cruise is that there are no chair hogs. The buffet was crowded at times, but we usually could find a seat. We ate breakfast in the dining room just about every day.

There were a lot of places to view the scenery from. One of our favorite places were through doors in the very front of Baja or Aloha decks that allow you to go out on a large balcony in the front of the ship. However, when cruising through Tracy Arm it is best to be on the top deck as the views are all around you. We were fortunate to have lots of sun throughout our cruise.
