My wife and I are in our early 40's and went on this trip by ourselves. WE arrived at Penn Station and took a cab to the terminal, which took about 20 minutes, due to heavy traffic. We were on the ship about 30 minutes after arrival at the terminal. Once onboard we explored the ship and had a few drinks while our luggage was being brought to our room. We had a balcony room which was clean and provided a great place to sit back and enjoy the scenery away from others whenever we wanted.

Almost all of the staff were extremely friendly (some were not, but that's life), as were the other passengers. The food was good overall, some things were better than other, but nothing was too bad, and nothing was the best I ever had. Both my wife and I agreed the "chocolate melting cake" was just OK, I cannot figure out what all the fuss is about in the previous reviews.

We only dined in the main dinning room once, and for the most part dined at the buffet or the deli.
