This ship had something really right, the crew was happy and made you feel welcome and that they enjoy what they do. We felt this more than on many of our ships. That adds a lot. The captain and officers must create a positive working environment. The food is okay, not great, but acceptable. The Warm Chocolate Melting Cake is on the menu every night, and some people eat it every night. It is real good. They have a real problem handling the crowds each day as people come back from excursions, and everyone is hungry. They cannot make hamburgers fast enough, so the lines become long at that time. People get irritated. They close a food line at 4:00 to change for dinner, and they should probably keep it open until 5:00. We ordered room service for breakfast so we could quickly get off the ship for our excursions. We placed our card out at night, and it always arrived on a timely basis. We heard people who ordered room service at other times say it was slow. If you eat breakfast in the morning at the buffet, the eggs suck. The entertainment was very good. The two Las Vegas style shows were excellent! They had 2 different comedians, both very funny. One did a second show a few days later at midnight, and R rated show. It was real R, and very funny. The magician they brought in for the last time was not very good, but he was our only disappointment for entertainment. Going to this many ports makes everything kinda blur together. Where are you, and what did you like? We did a bike excursion in St Lucia to the rainforest and had a great time. We took an island tour in Dominica and St kitts. We did a catamaran trip, and swam with the sea turtles in Barbados, something not to miss. The zip lines are offered on several islands, and what an adventure. Scared me because I am afraid of heights, but I did it. Everyone felt that was real challenge. We saw banana plantations, and tasted pineapple just brought in. Wow, was that sweet. No sea days, always on the move, off the ship everyday. A trip that really goes by quickly. Of all of our cruises, this will rank as one of our favorites. My wife really does not like days at sea, and she had none on this. We already have our next cruise booked in three months, and she is dreading the three days at sea. Flying to San Juan is more expensive, but you are right there in the heart of the islands, ready to go. The ship does not have to go a thousand miles to get there. It is a real advantage when you want to hit a lot.

Cabin Review

Nice size room for two of us. Good ocean view. We could hear noises of the ship arriving at the port. We did not like that. We also could hear people in the halls as they were hanging out talking.
